Happy Turkey Day
We had a great Thanksgiving this year, well I think we always do. Jeremy's family came down here. They came Tuesday night and stayed until this morning. We played games, ate and ate, of course did karaoke, and ate some more. Everyone helped out and it was good. Jeremy's family has a fun tradition with the "Christmas Ball". His mom slaves away, seriously, wrapping up little gifts for the kids in crape paper. They unroll until their prize falls out and then it goes to the next person. Well the reason I say slaves away...she has specific items for each grandchild and it has to be wrapped in a specific order. So they each got 14 things and there was 11 grand kids, you do the math and time!! Here are some fun pictures of our week. Now it is time to get ready for Christmas. Some of us went to the midnight madness at the outlets Thursday night and then we got up Friday morning to hit the stores by 6 in the morning. Let's just say we got maybe, maybe 3 hours of sleep, but I am almost done with my shopping!! Thanks everyone for helping with food and keeping things in order around here through the week!! We had a lot of fun with you all.

Go Tigers!
Alright in the middle of all the play and getting ready for Thanksgiving we had to make a quick trip to Salt Lake. The Tigers, our High School team, were in the State Championship. Jer wanted to make the trip so we let the girls stay with a friend and left Thursday night after the 2nd play performance at 10 o'clock with Kaden and Briana. We stayed at my brothers house and went to the game. They played Juan Diego (don't kill me if I spelled that wrong). We lost, but it was a close game. The final score was 18 to 21. It was fun and I think more than half the town was there! It was great to see the support that the town gave them. Kaden loved it and I am sure Briana was glad Kirt and Jessica let her stay with them. The weather was great, but she is still pretty little for a football game!! Thanks Kirt and Jess for your help! We then hurried home to make it to the next performance of the play. It was crazy, but you only live once right!!
Joseph the Technicolor Coat
Well my girls had an experience to be in the High School play. We thought "how fun", well little did we know the Time.......Time.....Time!! It was fun, but the practices involved for a small part was a little crazy and the play went forever!! Two times on Thursday, one Friday, twice Saturday and of course again on Monday!! They loved it. They were part of the children's choir for Joseph and the Technicolor Coat. They new the kids that played Joseph and the Narrator so they felt pretty big to be in the play with them. The play got better each time. We thought that they did a great job. Monday it was sold out and they had to turn people away. I could hear people behind me saying that they should do it one more night........as a parent I held my breath and thought in my mind, "Are you kidding!! This is our 6th time to this play!!" I am glad they didn't and it was fun to finish with a big turnout.
Busy Busy
Well life has been a little hectic lately, as I'm sure it has been for everyone. The only problem is that it is only going to get more crazy!! The first update is from these helpers!! My kids were helping with dinner one day and we have tried this time and time before, but this time it was a great help. Maybe we are about to reach the age where it is more of a help than a hindrance....

They made macaroni salad. Kaden peeled the cucumbers, Madelyn cut them and Kalyann cut the tomatoes! What a team.

Halloween
We had a lot of fun for Halloween this year. My brother was here with his cute family and Kirt came too. What a treat! The kids loved trick-or-treating with Brooke and Cole. I think the pictures will show that. I am glad that Halloween is over. I feel like we have been celebrating it for weeks! I wonder why! On Friday the kids had their party's at school. I helped with Kalyann's which turned out fun. Her teacher is kind of a character so it made it even more interesting. They had fun and Angie..........good job! Then the school does a parade with their costumes so we were able to see all the kids costumes. It is always fun to see what they have all come up with. I am also amazed at how many parents dress up. This is my first time to NOT dress up for the last 4 years......let me tell you, I will not live it down. I had a bunch of friends come and give me a hard time for not wearing my costume. The day was fun and even better since Justin, Jessica, Kirt, Brooke and Cole were here. We need to do that more often. Here are a ton of pictures to share. Sorry there are so many...............but I couldn't help it! Kalyann was a dancer, Madelyn a queen, Kaden was Iron Man, and Briana was a cat.
