Labor Day in Montana!
We went to Montana to see my family for Labor Day! It was a lot of fun. The kids loved being with Grandma and Grandpa and of course the horses!! We were able to go to the fair, the rodeo, parade and see Grandparents and Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. The kids were soooo brave with the horses........a little too brave. Kalyann and Madelyn would get on and off by themselves. At one point Madelyn didn't know we were watching and took some twine to use as reins. She put the horse along the fence, climbed up and tried to get on to ride bareback! The horse took a step and she did not make it. It was pretty funny. My dad put some big garbage cans out to make barrels so they could learn how to ride barrels. It did get cold though. At the parade it was about 40 degrees! Can you believe they passed out popsicles at the end! Wish we had our hats and gloves! Briana did well on the drive and that was more than we could ask. Thanks mom and dad for a great weekend!
