It is Halloween time again and like every year Jeremy has to start planning the party. He loves Halloween and I was thinking this year why he liked it so much. I think it is because it allows him to remember his childhood years and come up with something fun for the kids. Someone told me that they felt bad we had so many decorations on our front porch and we won't get too many tricker treaters. My response was that he doesn't do it for them. He does it for his kids. They love to decorate with him and make everything spooky. We had a great turnout this year. We took out the furniture so we would have room for everyone. We had Halloween karaoke, food and Jeremy always plans a surprise. This year he had a booth in the backyard that was his laboratory (Dr. Koo Koo Krazy). The kids helped make a monster come alive. Jeremy was very proud of his setup. He had bones mixed in with noodles. The kids had to reach in the box and choose a bone. The bone had a body part written on it. Then they got to feel what it was. Eyeballs, the heart, the tongue, the ear, teeth (wonder where he got them from, alright he didn't use real teeth from the office, just plastic ones), mouse breath, and so forth. Then when all the parts were in there was a spot light on a man on a table so there was a shadow of a tall monster. (It was Jeremy's brother Layne.) The monster couldn't move until the music was on and got louder and louder. It was all a shadow and then he tore through the sheet and ran off. The kids screamed and screamed and then chased him down the street. We loved it. We have been doing this every year for our neighbors and for the Young Women. This year we invited both neighborhoods and some friends from our old ward. A friend of mine counted over 60 people! (well that does include kids!) Layne was a great monster! Thanks Layne! I hope everyone had fun. We did!!

The kids were playing with the karaoke while we were setting up.

I think there were 10 witches!
